Bubbles Hope

Bubbles was not hired either.

He just appeared one morning holding a tiny coffee cup with both paws and looking deeply impressed by a muffin.

Harry said, "Who approved the raccoon?"

Ziggy said, "Venus."

Nobody checked.

Bubbles believes every day contains at least one tiny good thing, even if it is hiding under three unpaid tasks and a suspicious sock.

He is not here to explain the chaos.

He is here to point at the smallest surviving crumb and whisper:

"Look. A miracle with crumbs."

Harry thinks this is dangerously optimistic.

Ziggy thinks Bubbles may be a minor celestial event.

Bubbles thinks everyone needs a snack and maybe a little applause for existing with shoes on.

If the world falls apart, Bubbles will not panic.

He will bring coffee, pat the nearest emotionally damaged object, and say:

"It's okay. This piece still works."
